Directions to Kenmare


From Killarney
Take the N22 from Killarney to Cork, After 7miles, take a turn to the right, signposted for Kenmare (R569) Pass through a village called Kilgarvan and continue to kenmare.

Scenic Route from Killarney
Take the N71 from Killarney, past Muckross to Kenmare

From Cork
Take the N22 to Killarney, Pass through Macroom and Ballyvourney. After about 7 miles outside ballyvourney, turn left on the R569 to Kenmare via Kilgarvan

From Dublin
Follow the N7 to portlaoise, Take N8 through Cashel and Mitchelstown, Take N73 to Mallow, Take N72 to Killarney. When in Killarney follow directions above to kenmare

TO THE COTTAGE FROM KENMARE
Take the R56 past the golf Course towards Kilgarvan. After about a mile and a half (two km) you will come to crossroads. Here there are a number of stone buildings on both sides of the junctions and Faungorth Activity Centre is on your right. Go straight through and take the first left hand turn which is approx 1/2 km from here. pass two houses immediately on your right as you have taken the turn and proceed up this secondary road. danloes Thached Cottage is the next house you will come on, on the right hand side approx 1/4 km further up the road.
